Before the pandemic, most of us knew little about online meeting platforms, such as Zoom, and meeting regularly in them.  Since 2019, we've been given a "baptism of fire" in teleconferencing.  Participating in an online course has some advantages; no commute, you can be in the privacy of your own home, and childcare becomes less of a challenge, to name a few.  However, there are some drawbacks as well.  Some find it difficult to fully "engage" in a teleconference setting. It can be difficult to recreate the sense of community when a group sits together in a classroom having a shared experience.
